SUPERSTITION MOUNTAINS, ARIZONA
AZGS geoscientist, Dr. Charles Ferguson, is a structural geologist with a knack for capturing fantastic geologic scenes. His mapping in the Superstition Mountains resulted in several geologic products -- see below -- and some marvelous photographs. Here is a small sampling of his images (Captions below). Suggested publications from Ferguson and other's work in the Superstition Mountains:

OFR-95-9-Geologic Map of the Goldfield Quadrangle and the Northern Part of the Superstition Mts. SW Quadrangle, Maricopa and Pinal Counties, Arizona, by S.J. Skotnicki and C.A. Ferguson, 1995, 24 p., 2 sheets, scale 1:24,000. Text and sheets. $9.25
